If you've been timed-out or muted on the Mountain Interactive Discord server, it’s important to understand the next steps and how you can resolve the issue.

Why Did This Happen?

Being timed-out typically means you've violated one of our community guidelines, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Common reasons include:

  • Spamming

  • Harassment or inappropriate behavior

  • Breaking server rules

Steps to Follow:

1. Remain Calm

The time-out is temporary. It’s important to remain calm and avoid trying to bypass the mute, as this could lead to more severe consequences.

2. Review the Rules

Take this time to review the Mountain Interactive Community Guidelines to understand why the action was taken. You can find the rules here: Community Guidelines

3. Wait Out the Mute

In most cases, your mute will be lifted automatically after a set period. Be patient and respectful during this time.

4. Contact the Moderation Team (Optional)

If you believe the time-out was applied in error or you want to discuss it with a moderator, you can open a support ticket. Follow the instructions here to reach out: How to Contact the Moderation Team for General Questions

What Happens After the Mute?

Once the time-out is lifted, you’ll be able to resume your normal activities on the server. Keep in mind that repeated offenses could result in more severe penalties, including longer mutes or bans.

Need Help?

If you have any questions or need further assistance regarding your time-out, don’t hesitate to contact our moderation team through the ticket system.
