Mountain Interactive uses TeamSpeak 3 for voice communication, offering a seamless experience for our community during gameplay, events, and discussions. If you're new to TeamSpeak or need assistance, follow the steps below to get started!
Step 1: Download TeamSpeak 3
If you don’t already have TeamSpeak 3 installed, you can download it by visiting the official TeamSpeak website:
Make sure to choose the version that matches your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.).
Step 2: Install TeamSpeak 3
Once downloaded, follow these steps to install:
Open the downloaded file.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
Step 3: Launch TeamSpeak 3
After installation, launch the TeamSpeak 3 client by clicking on the TeamSpeak 3 icon on your desktop or searching for it in your applications.
Step 4: Connect to Mountain Interactive’s Server
In the TeamSpeak 3 window, click on the "Connections" tab at the top left.
Select "Connect" from the drop-down menu.
Enter the following information:
- Server Address: ts3.mountaininteractive.com
- Nickname: Your in-game or community username.Click "Connect" to join the server.
Step 5: Set Up Your Microphone
Once connected to the server:
You’ll be prompted to configure your microphone and headset/speakers.
Follow the setup wizard or configure your devices manually by going to the "Tools" menu, selecting "Options", and then clicking on "Capture" (for microphone) or "Playback" (for speakers/headphones).
Step 6: Join a Channel
After you’ve successfully connected to the TeamSpeak server:
You’ll see a list of available channels.
Find the appropriate channel for your game, event, or activity and double-click on it to join.
